Dr Elena Ioannidou
Dr Ioannidou is an Associate Professor at the Department of Education in the field of Language Education and Sociolinguistics. Dr Ioannidou has strong experience in European projects. She was the local coordinator for the Erasmus+ project PALM (Promoting Authentic Language Acquisition in Multilingual Contexts, https://www.palm-edu.eu/en/) in which a digital platform of texts, multimodal materials and online tasks were created for multilingual learners in different languages (e.g. Italian, French, Greek, German). She also led other sociolinguistic and applied linguistic projects funded by the EU, the British Academy and the Leventis foundation.
Dr Elisavet Kiourti
Dr Kiourti is an Academic (European University Cyprus) and a Researcher at the Department of Education (University of Cyprus) in the scientific area of Emerging and AI Technologies for Education/Society. She has been a local coordinator in various research Erasmus+ (e.g. INGAME) and HORIZON projects (e.g. AugMENTOR), an evaluator of EU research projects (e.g. PROSECUW, VETTER). Dr Kiourti has also a strong experience as a researcher in projects (e.g. iLearnGreek, PALM, GenGapsDigi, GeiaXara, Blend-In, VRIN). She has been a content designer of digital games, curriculum and program designer for primary education and academic institutions. Finally, she is the Cyprus Ambassador in Women in Games and co-organizer of Global Game Jam Cyprus.
